Not to mention that everyone who watches my twitch or any other form or streaming and social media will now know our real names associated with our gamertag , every shady person, hacker, scammer or little punks who like to pull pranks etc. will now have more information than they should have and will be able to do a lot of different bad things. Its opening up to harrassment by people who may not like us, players and viewers. It just doesn't make business sense. It can cause more problems than benefits. You can't guarantee our safety or privacy and I dont expect you to because we shouldn't have to worry about it. And for us that have actually invested ourselves in this league, it's not that easy to just quit. We changed our PSNID's for the league. We marketed the league and ourselves online and offline we've invested time and so on. I don't know what has all the sudden come up that we need to do this were before it wasnt needed. This should be optional.

It's an unnecessary risk versus reward Jack. I know I'm not the only one who's not going to feel comfortable doing this. It just doesn't make any sense to do it. If what you are saying is necessary to get sponsors or recognized then why wasnt that said upfront or how do ALL the other gamers out there manage to get by without using their real names on the player ID's? Every place you go, when you make an online profile, warns you to not include your full name or any important numbers such as birthdates, SSN etc. There is a reason they tell you that. I guarantee you I could call any of the companies that sponsor esports athletes and they would say they dont need your real name. And in fact using an alias is more marketable.

Even in the esports leagues out there, nobody goes by tdd their real name. Sponsors are available to get my real name via the league website. I dont see how having my full name on the player helps anything.

And if that's t GB e case then what was the point in changing my PSNID

To be honest I'm not comfortable having my full name on playstation. For everyone to see with no kind of guarantee of security, Playstation and other game c ok companies themselves say not to use your real names in video games.

I dont understand why our players names need to be our real names all the sudden.

I had to back all the way out. Confusing but I got it now. It wont let me set it up that way in the VBA profile but it does for the Wix app. I changed it. First and last name in the "first name" line and PSN ID for the "last name" line.

Right, I changed both. Same problem with both of them.

I dont know if this applies to me, but I went to go make the changes on my Wix app profile and it doesn't have a line for first name and last name. Just one line that says "full name"
